In the wake of accessiBe’s success, Forbes included accessiBe’s 3 founders, Shir Ekerling, Dekel Skoop, and Gal Vizel, on its 2019 30 Under 30 list.
The inclusion of Ekerling, Skoop, and Vizel in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list is a tribute to the important work that accessiBe is doing in making the internet accessible for all.
accessiBe provides an automated solution that makes every website compliant with accessibility legislation, including WCAG 2.0 and ADA Title III. By using AI, accessiBe makes it possible for every business to afford to make their website accessible, saving small to medium businesses from expensive web accessibility lawsuits and opening up the internet to users with disabilities. As accessiBe enables more and more websites to become accessible, it’s setting a trend for accessibility that is leading to real change in the world.
Forbes 30 Under 30 is an annual list of 30 innovators aged under 30 years old at the end of the year. It’s been running every year since 2011, with the number of nominees now reaching more than 15,000. Forbes has parallel lists for the US and Canada; Europe; Asia; Africa; and more.
The Forbes list is recognized globally as identifying young trailblazers and entrepreneurs who bring hope for the future, as they transform different areas of society, business, culture, and economy. Nominees for the 30 Under 30 list are vetted three times, by expert Forbes judges who have vast experience in their various fields, so selection for the 30 Under 30 list is a big achievement.
Being honored as members of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list is a great experience for Ekerling, Skoop, and Vizel. It brought them an appearance in the late 2019 issue of Forbes, with a long profile describing the important and revolutionary work of accessiBe. Ekerling, Skoop, and Vizel also took part in a Forbes-sponsored networking event which gave all three the opportunity to get to know other key entrepreneurs and innovators who were chosen for 2019 30 Under 30 list.
Quote from Gal Vizel, CMO of accessiBe:"We are excited to be selected for this honorable list along with amazing people who want to make a real change and influence how we live in the world. Recognizing web accessibility as an important area and our solution is a big step toward our vision: Making the internet accessible to all by 2025."
