Explore: Understanding the Explore page
The Explore page provides a flexible view of your website’s accessibility issues, helping you to effectively prioritize fixes. Group issues by rules or sort them by severity, number of occurrences, assignee, accessibility criteria, or device type.
The Explore page automatically saves the state of your filters and sort settings for both the Issues and Rules tabs. This means that if you navigate away from the Explore page in accessFlow and return, your preferences are saved.
Issues
Select Issues to view the issues to fix. Higher values for severity and occurrences indicate issues with higher priority.
View the following for each issue:
- Issue ID: A unique ID for the issue.
- Occurrences: The number of times this issue occurs in the site. Select the column heading to sort.
- Comments: The number of comments in this issue.
- Assignee: Who this issue is assigned to.
- Severity: The issue severity level. Resolve high severity issues first. Select the column heading to sort.
- Category: The accessibility category. Select the column heading to sort.
- WCAG: The WCAG level of conformance affected by this issue.
- Rule: The rule type affected by this issue.
- Device: The device type affected. Select the column heading to sort.
Actions
- Select an issue to open the remediation panel and resolve it.
- Select a column heading to sort by ascending/descending order.
- Use filters to organize your view (Cateogry, Severity, Assignee, Device). Select again to remove the filter.

Rules
Select Rules to view all the accessibility rules where issues were identified in your website.
View the following for each rule:
- Rule: The WCAG rule.
- Category: The WCAG category. Select the column heading to sort.
- Severity: The rule severity level. Select the column heading to sort.
- Related Issues: The number of issues detected that relate to this rule.
- Affected Pages: The number of pages on your site affected by this rule.
Actions
- Select a rule to review all related issues and then select an issue to resolve it.
- Select a column heading to sort by ascending/descending order. E.g. sort by severity
- Use filters to organize your view (Category, Severity). Select again to remove the filter.
- Select multiple issues for batch actions. See Manage multiple issues.
Manage multiple issues
Perform actions on multiple issues at once or select Issue ID to select all the issues on the page.
Mark multiple issues and then choose an action from the toolbar:
- Export (only available if you have Integrations enabled): Create issues in the integrated project management tool.
- Resolve: Mark selected issues as Resolved.
- Dismiss: Provide feedback for the reason the issues are being dismissed. Mark selected issues as Dismissed.
- Assign: Select a team member or start typing to search for a team member and assign the issues.
