What do I do if I get a demand letter?
If you receive a demand letter, it means that your website is being accused of not being compliant with the ADA and someone is trying to bring your website under legal inquiry. Just because you receive a demand letter does not mean the claims are accurate or well-founded. They’re often part of a “sue-and-settle” tactic, aimed at pressuring businesses into settlements, even when their websites are accessible.
